you never know where you might wind up sometimes, like

the banting institute

we had visited this tunnel at toronto general hospital before
and admired its handsome valves
however, we had never gotten to the other side — here!
we were in a place we had not been before... a very green place
with the odd blue thing (the tag on which reads, "DO NOT OPERATE")

this place had some pretty groovy machines

 
and some nice valves of its own

of course, it had the occasional shortcoming
but there were some bizarre things to see, like files about mysterious illnesses

and things way up high!

on our way down from the top of the green building, we looked out a window and couldn't figure out what part of the hospital we were inside.

then we realized.

we weren't in the hospital anymore.

we were in the university of toronto.

just goes to show ya.
